Pinkerton AI is an independent AI software product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or related to the Pinkerton detective and security services company. We share a name and an eye motif as a wink to the idea of privacy — nothing more.
Why we built it
Mainstream AI assistants refuse legitimate requests, attach your identity to every prompt, and retain your conversation history. That combination is a problem for journalists, security researchers, writers of adult fiction, and anyone whose questions are sensitive. Pinkerton AI exists to serve those users: unrestricted models, anonymous sessions, and a strict zero-logs posture, with the details documented in our privacy policy.
What powers it
Pinkerton AI runs multiple large language models and image/video models through privacy-respecting infrastructure, selected for capability without the aggressive filtering layers mainstream platforms add. The service is funded by subscriptions — paid by card or cryptocurrency (BTC, XMR, LTC) — not by advertising and not by selling data.
Who we are
The team behind Pinkerton AI works pseudonymously. In a product whose whole promise is that identity is nobody's business, we hold ourselves to the same standard we offer our users. Accountability comes from what is verifiable instead: our published policies (privacy, terms, DMCA, content removal), consistent support, and the behaviour of the product itself.
